I love experimenting with various tastes when I cook, and especially with Asian flavours. So here I’ve tried a very interesting combination in the glaze for this juicy and tasty turkey breast pastrami. What’s best about this recipe, besides it’s taste and aroma, is you don’t really need a grill or a smoker – it will taste fabulous roasted in the oven as well!
Smoking has always been one of my all times favorite ways to serve fish. I’ve smoked salmon, hot and cold, also tried smoking grouper and mackerel… So today I am smoking rainbow trout on cherry wood, the classic way. So… here we go!
To me, leg of lamb is a perfect entertainment dish… One leg usually is enough for 8 to 10 very hungry men, and it’s bloody impressive, you gotta admit that! 🙂 So today I give you my South African style marinade for lamb, in which the garlic and the ginger give the meat another dimension of taste and aroma.
It’s been a long time – work kept me busy and travelling, mainly in Austria, but here I am, shaking the dust off my smoker and bringing you one of the easiest and cost-effective recipes I know for a smoked turkey pastrami. The honey-orange glaze adds an extra layer of sweetness to this lightly savory meat, resulting in the most tasty pastrami I’ve tried since quite a long.
